Megatel Homes was founded in 2006 by brothers Aaron and Zach Ipour. Since then, the Ipour brothers have grown the company into a well-known and recognized builder of quality single-family homes with total gross revenue of nearly $370 million in 2016.
Early on in the company’s history, the Ipour brothers recognized the critical need for home builders to diversify their capital sources. Using their vision and entrepreneurial spirit, they launched Megatel Capital Investment (“MCI”) in 2014 as the capital markets division of Megatel Homes.
Aaron Ipour is the co-founder of Megatel Homes, Inc., a full-service developer and builder of single-family homes in Texas and Oklahoma. The company has humble beginnings, started by Aaron and his brother Zach in 2006 with the focus on remodeling single-family homes. Driven by their success in this venture, they began building and developing single-family homes and have since grown the company to be one of the largest homebuilders in Dallas, Texas.
With over 140 personnel located throughout Texas & Oklahoma, Aaron is actively responsible for Megatel’s corporate operations, which includes maintaining the
company’s production and institutional relationships, as well as managing all financial aspects of the company and its affiliates. Aaron was also instrumental in the development of Megatel’s luxury custom home brand, Oxbridge, which has been prominently featured in both the Dallas area “D” Magazine, and Luxe Interiors + Design Magazine.
In addition to his role with Megatel, Aaron has been co-president of RCM Mortgage, Inc., a residential mortgage company and an affiliate of Megatel
Homes, Inc. since 2013. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Management with a Minor in Productivity and Efficiency Management.
Trey Hoppe serves as the Executive Vice President and National Sales Director for Megatel Capital Investment in Dallas, TX. Mr. Hoppe began his career in the financial services and investment management business over 10 years ago with AIM Investments and subsequently Invesco. Following Invesco, Mr. Hoppe served as the lead research analyst for a private asset management firm in Houston, Texas.
From 2009-2015, Mr. Hoppe served as the Vice President of Funding and the Director of Business Development for Noble Royalties, Inc. and Resource Royalty, LLC where he led the fundraising efforts for a group of private oil and natural gas energy funds. During his time at Noble and Resource, Mr. Hoppe raised over $500 million through the Broker-Dealer and RIA community, specializing in
1031 exchange investments out of traditional real estate and into producing oil and natural gas properties.
Mr. Hoppe earned his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Texas Tech University specializing in Finance and Economics. He holds FINRA series 22 and series 63 with Emerson Equity, LLC.
Zach Ipour is the co-founder of Megatel Homes, Inc., a full-service developer and builder of single family homes in Texas and Oklahoma. Zach oversees Megatel’s field operations, including the sales and construction divisions of the company. He also plays a vital role in the growth and operation of Megatel’s land acquisition and development division, as well as the expansion of the company’s home building efforts into other states.
Megatel continues to see expansive growth year after year. Since the company’s inception, Megatel has sold upwards of 3,000 homes and has completed over 100 developments. In 2016, the company recognized $369.1 million in gross revenue and has over 41 new communities slated for development in 2017.
In addition to his role with Megatel, Zach has been co-president of RCM Mortgage, Inc., a residential mortgage company and an affiliate of Megatel Homes, Inc. since 2013. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering with a Minor in Programming.
